Smoking - Harmful, addictive and injurious to health

Smoking is one of the most common habits developed by the people in their young age. This one time try of the cigarette smoking leads to a deadly and hard to get rid of addiction.

This addiction seems to be never ending because the person craves every time to smoke and feel good. It binds with the blood and generates some signals through the central nervous system of the body which lead to a very different sensation making the person feel quite relaxed. It is these reasons due to which the person wants to smoke again and again and slowly develops a strong crave towards smoking the cigarette. The effects cigarette smoking can be devastating. It can lead to many diseases. Some of the most commonly encountered diseases are the ones related to respiration and breathing. Hence the respiratory and breathing diseases are the most common ones in the people who follow a regular smoking routine. On the other hand in many cases it is also seen that the prolonged smoking can lead to deadly disease like the cancer. Cancer is encountered among many chain smokers at some stage of their life. It is hence always recommended that we should never smoke.

Even if a person is smoking then he should be made aware of all the pros and cons of it and should hence try and quit smoking. Lungs are the most affected area and organ of the body that are affected by the smoking process. The percentage of nicotine in the blood also increases which leads to high blood pressure and sometimes blocking of the blood vessels. There are several medicines being made for people who are unable to quit smoking so that they use them and get rid of their smoking habit. These medicines make the person crave less for having a smoke hence is very beneficial for the chain smoker. Such medicines and techniques should hence be taken by such people so that they are able to quit the smoking habit successfully and lead a healthy smoke free life.
