I salute you, an ex-smoker to be!

I created this website especially for the smokers who suffer from addiction and can't overcome the propensity for tobacco but who have not yielded to the problem of tobacco smoking.

And it is really a serious problem: according to WHO, more than 1,3 billion of our planet's population are tobacco addicted.  Every year more than five millions of people die of smoking effects and it is not including passive smokers. Average age of a beginning smoker is 13-14 years old. Just think over these figures! Statistics are inexorable: «an innocuous» habit to take a pull at cigarette leads to destructive consequences.

Smoking is not just a bad habit because nicotine forms addiction comparable to drug dependence. Headache, giddiness, nausea - all these are just "flowers" in comparison with effects resulted from regular smoking.  Tobacco smoke consists of thousands of chemical compounds and tens of poisons: nicotine, arsenic, ammonia, benzapyrene, benzol, formaldehyde, hydrocyanic, carbon monoxide. The smoke also contains radioactive materials such as lead, bismuth and polonium. Inhaling this “aromatic” bouquet of chemical compounds and poisons, the smoke in the form of tars accumulates on the lungs affecting respiratory and cardiovascular systems and gastrointestinal tract.

But I won't put you up with these facts: you know very well that smoking kills.  You know that the lion's share of serious diseases is caused by tobacco smoking.   But, nevertheless, you continue to smoke as you are in the grip of your addiction and it is just impossible to resist another cigarette.

The enemy is the cigarette and our site is devoted to struggle against this enemy.

I have first-hand knowledge of smoking hazards because I myself was subject to this addiction in due time. Once I, as well as many other smokers, thought that there would be nothing awful of a couple of puffs because it was just a way to while away the time and take your mind off concerns. One puff turned into a cigarette, one cigarette came to several ones and so on until I began to smoke a whole pack in a day. Smoking has seriously undermined my health; the dependence was so strong that I was not able anymore to believe that it could be overcome. Struggling against tobacco addiction, I have learnt mechanisms of its process and worked out my own nicotine addiction overcoming methodology and I managed to give up smoking forever.

I experience first-hand how it is difficult to combat propensity for smoking not knowing and not understanding how it can be and should be done. That's why I created this website for everyone who suffers from nicotine addiction and wants to quit smoking. There are a lot of helpful materials on the site, such as: articles, success stories of former smokers and you are also able to familiarize yourself with my own methodology of struggle against smoking.

You will find out everything about smoking from theme articles: namely about tobacco effects to men's and women's health, nicotine addiction progress, methods of struggle against it and others. There are facts, helpful materials and specialists' opinions in respect of smoking and struggle against it in the articles' section. You must know the enemy by sight, so you should find out about the problem as much as possible in order to overcome your addiction. On the site there are also stories of ex-smokers who have already managed to overcome the nicotine addiction and want to share their experience with people who have failed to quit smoking by now.

Smokers give many years of their lives to this bad habit. I hope that this website will help you to realize all seriousness of the problem and break off smoking.
